ResearchHub is an open-science platform where funders post research questions and researchers apply for funding. We help funders design open requests for proposals (RFPs) and find the right researchers. Applying is much simpler than a traditional research grant. To apply, you submit a 2-4 page preregistration (proposal) that
At ResearchHub, our mission is to open and accelerate science. Unlike traditional journals where editors assign reviewers, ResearchHub allows qualified reviewers to self-select papers, creating an open marketplace for peer review. This community-driven model fosters transparency, faster feedback, and broader participation in the scientific process. This guide will
With the launch of ResearchHub v2, we've introduced a powerful new feature: the ability to fund scientific research directly through preregistrations using ResearchCoin (RSC). This marks a big step forward in how science is funded: fast, transparent, and aligned with open science values. Traditional grantmaking is notoriously slow
In today's scientific economy, less than half of study outcomes are reported, and less than half of those can be replicated [1, 2]. We're not just facing a reproducibility crisis—we're facing an efficiency catastrophe. At ResearchHub, we are addressing this problem with a
ResearchHub pays you for peer reviewing preprints. If you don’t find a peer review grant that suits your expertise or identify a preprint you’d like to review, you can request a grant to be assigned. Follow these 5 steps to request a grant to review any preprint. Step
Launching in January 2025, the collaboration between ResearchHub and the Center for Open Science aims to accelerate scientific discovery by integrating ResearchHub's incentivized peer review system with the COS’ Lifecycle Journal. Our goal is to foster a more transparent and efficient publication model. The Lifecycle Journal is an
ResearchHub introduces open access paid peer review journal—ensuring transparency, reproducibility, and rapid completion in just 21 days.
Unveiling the Future of AI in Science: Scaling Up AI-Powered Error Detection. It all started with a 10-page paper and a math error that caused a stir in the scientific community. Out of curiosity, Twitter user Ethan Mollick (@emollick) wondered: could an AI spot the mistake with just
ResearchCoin (RSC) is a digital token that rewards high-quality scientific research. In technical terms, ResearchCoin is a digital asset built on the Ethereum blockchain–an ERC20 token. In our vision, it is a new digital asset for the global scientific community. Not only does it have value–it represents
Every day, thousands of research papers hit the shelves, each vying for attention in an already overloaded system. Recent bibliometrics reveal that scientific publications have surged by 8-9% annually, for decades. In biomedicine alone, over a million papers flood the PubMed database each year—roughly two papers every minute
Is science held back by funding? According to 270 scientists surveyed by Vox, the answer is a resounding yes. They see financial limitations as one of the biggest barriers to breakthroughs (Belluz et al., 2016). The quest to find funding for research in modern science is often riddled with obstacles.
Despite billions of dollars being poured into scientific research each year, much of it never sees the light of day. Groundbreaking discoveries often remain buried in academic journals, accessible only to a small circle of scientists. Meanwhile, the world outside the lab struggles to benefit from these advancements, and industries,
